Peter Bosz came back to the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen after his rough stint at Borussia Dortmund in 2017. His return to the German game did not get off to the right start as his side fell to Borussia Mönchengladbach 1-0.
Gladbach keeper Yann Sommer was the big man on the pitch, stopping all 21 shots on target. Leverkusen peppered him all day but Sommer was up to the task. Alassane Plea’s strike in the 37th minute was the only goal of the day.
