Florida Cup 2015: Sunday training with 1. FC Köln

Because I don’t have much idea about what coaches do with their teams and how it will relate to what will happen come match day, I’m just going to share the best photos I got today (with my mobile phone, having left my camera behind) at the Sunday afternoon training session with 1. FC Köln. We will have plenty more from Florida Cup prep and competition throughout the week. Stay tuned!

The 1. FC Köln, after stretching, got warm with an American football, allowed only to throw and catch the pigskin while attempting to score.

The Köln defense, as it was in great stretches this season, was impenetrable, if not entirely organized.
Ujah, as usual, attempted to make himself an obvious target for a forward pass.
Kazuki Nagasawa looked to be fully fit. Should be good to go in the Rückrunde, full-time.
Eventually, it was time for scrimmaging.
You can guess what happened here, can’t you?
Yannick Gerhardt determined to use speed to beat Jonas Hector to the right spot.
And, on the last action of training, Hector stays down in pain. My completely professional opinion? He’s okay.
