2012/13 Bundesliga Summer Transfers Overview

The Bundesliga will celebrate its 50th birthday when it kicks off on August 24th and all clubs have been busy upgrading their squads to prepare for the new season.  All 18 teams will have until August 31st to finalize their squads and none are resting on their laurels with several big moves already finalized.

Bayern Munich have been busy renovating their squad after their last two disappointing season and have been the biggest spenders so far while Lucien Favre is looking to replace all the key players that have left the club following their impressive season. On the other end, Hoffenheim and Bremen are just two of the clubs that are revamping their squads after playing below expectations this past season and newcomers Fortuna Düsseldorf have been the busiest of all with 16 new players coming into the squad.

Borussia Dortmund
